D. Patrick Finnigan’s contributions to the Bay Area Style of architecture derive from his strong early interest in art and drawing. As he matured, his aesthetic interests were fed by both the natural beauty of the San Francisco Peninsula and the extraordinary architecture in and around the Los Altos-Palo Alto area, where he grew up. These influences, coupled with his keen eye and later acquisition of the skills and tools to express his designs, today form a substantial body of work that reflects the best architectural traditions of the Bay Area Style.
